The Center for Bone & Joint Surgery of the Palm Beaches has announced the addition of Deeptee Jain, MD, to their team of orthopedic and spine specialists. Dr. Jain is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon focusing on evaluating and treating degenerative spine conditions, including lumbar and cervical disc herniations, degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, and spinal stenosis. Before joining the Center for Bone and Joint Surgery, Dr. Jain was an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Jain attended Duke University School of Medicine and then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she was awarded Chief Orthopedic Surgery Resident. She went on to receive subspecialized fellowship training in orthopedic spine surgery at New York University Hospital for Joint Disease, where she focused on minimally invasive techniques.
“I have seen firsthand how chronic back or neck pain can physically and emotionally limit patients. Providing the best possible care for their condition and seeing them get back to being healthy and active has continued to motivate me,” said Dr. Jain. “I will always begin with conservative treatment options, but when surgery is the right decision, I utilize the latest advancements in minimally invasive techniques to help expedite my patient’s recovery.”
Dr. Jain is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a member of the North American Spine Society (where she is also an Advocacy Council Member), the Lumbar Spine Research Society, and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. She is also a reviewer for the Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery and a contributor to Forbes. She was named to SpineLine’s 20 Under 40, which highlights orthopedic physicians under the age of 40 who are making an impact with their accomplishments.
