Dr. Robert Rochman is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. His areas of expertise include lower extremity fracture care, arthroscopic surgery, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Rochman has advanced training in the latest techniques to manage arthritis, including total ankle replacement.
Dr. Rochman earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedics and rehabilitation at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Rochman completed his fellowship in orthopedic ankle and foot surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the winner of the Fellow’s Research Competition by the Florida Orthopaedic Society in 2006 and was honored as president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
In addition to his orthopedic practice, Dr. Rochman served as chief of surgery at Palms West Hospital and also served on the credentialing committee for 15 years (from 2008-2022). He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, Florida Orthopaedic Society, and Florida Medical Association.
Dr. Rochman’s research is published in peer-reviewed journals, and he is a national presenter.
