What Is Hand Rejuvenation?

Our hands endure a lot of wear and tear over the years. As we age, our hands often lose volume, exposing veins, tendons, sun spots, and other unsightly features. Our hand rejuvenation procedure uses a dermal filler injected under the skin with a thin needle to plump the skin and add volume to the back of your hands.

Who Is A Candidate?

If large veins, tendons, sunspots, or varying pigmentations are easily visible on your hands and you would like to improve their appearance, then you are likely a candidate.

What To Expect With The Procedure

After a gentle cleansing of the hands, the filler is administered with a very small needle into the back of each hand. The hands are then massaged to evenly spread the filler and begin the volumizing process. After this, you'll be able to leave our office and drive back to your home or workplace. It usually only takes about 20 minutes to complete the injection process. We recommend avoiding intense sunlight or physical activity with your hands over the next 24 hours.

After you get your injections, you will notice an immediate improvement in the fullness of your hands. During the next couple of weeks, the calcium microspheres in the filler will cause the amount of collagen in your hands to increase. As the collagen in these tissues improves, your hands will continue to look fuller and smoother.
