David Simpson, MD
Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Surgeon Sports Medicine

He is board certified in both General Orthopedics and Sports Medicine . Dr. Simpson has advanced training in arthroscopic hip surgery. He also has extensive experience in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. In addition, he performs primary and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty, most of which are done on an outpatient basis.
Dr. Simpson earned his medical degree
from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He completed both his internship in general surgery and orthopedic residency at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston. In addition, Dr. Simpson completed an arthroscopy and sports medicine fellowship at the San Diego Center for Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Simpson has served as a team physician for several sports teams and events, including the US Professional Beach Volleyball Tour and US World Cup Soccer Team. He served as adjunct professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
