Dr. Mark Waeltz is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with expertise in spine surgery . He is recognized as a conservative, straightforward spine surgeon who makes every effort to customize and individualize treatment plans using a broad spectrum of treatment alternatives and a team approach.
Dr. Waeltz earned his medical degree
from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed an orthopedic residency at Fort Worth Affiliated Hospitals and spine fellowship at the Texas Back Institute. Dr. Waeltz was awarded the VFW Scholarship and James Scholar Research Assistant.
A member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, Dr. Waeltz has published research in several peer-reviewed journals.
