David Simpson, MD

David Simpson, MD is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Medicine, as well as a special interest in Fracture Care. Dr. Simpson has advanced training in Arthroscopic Hip Surgery and is one of the few Orthopaedic Surgeons in the entire State of Florida to perform this surgical procedure. He also has extensive experience in Arthroscopic Surgery of the Shoulder, Elbow, and Knee.

Dr. Simpson earned his Medical Degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He completed his Internship in General Surgery and Orthopaedic Residency at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Simpson performed an Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship at the San Diego Center for Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine in San Diego, CA. 

Dr. Simpson has served as a Team Physician for several sports teams and events, including the US Professional Beach Volleyball Tour and US World Cup Soccer Team. He served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Dr. Simpson’s research is published in several peer-reviewed journals, and he is a national presenter.
