Physicians Assitant
We are looking for a Physician's Assitant. This person will be responsible for the following:
- Assist physician with initial and follow up screening of patients during daily clinics.
- Conduct physical exams, assesses health status, orders and interprets tests, prescribes medications, and treats illnesses including giving injections and suturing wounds according to the PA scope of work and protocols.
- Dictate progress notes, narratives, and second opinions for daily clinics, as requested.
- Screen patients to determine needs for surgery, consent for surgical procedure.
- Assist physicians with surgical procedures, as needed.
- Assist physicians with rounds.
- Take first calls and go to hospital consults.
- Monitors therapies and provides continuity of care.
- Order routine laboratory test, including MRI, Bone Scan, Ct Scan, blood, urine, etc.
- Counsels patient/family on preventive health care.
- Timely completion of medical patients records.
